To eliminate all rashes Starboard has removed the texture from the deck area where your arms are moving while paddling through the surf. Originally developed in 1995 by Jean Louis Colmas from New Caledonia, the authentic Starboard wood Malibu technology is now available with the traditional TIKI design. These stunning wood veneer boards are produced with press moulds to meet a shape accuracy that can not be matched by hand. The boards are finished with a layer of veneer which is laminated using vacuum bags and epoxy.
