- The original Start board was introduced by Starboard in 2000, now this ultra wide board style has totally reshaped the entry-level windsurfing scene. Starboard is encouraged to see the whole industry following in its footsteps. We have been working hard to improve our entry-level designs for 2003, and are confident of taking another quantum leap with the new Start program.
The extensive 2003 Start development program included sailors like World Champion Wojtek Brzozowski and first timers alike, who have all given their feedback to ensure this board is not only the best ever entry level board, but also a board that you can grow with and enjoy for years to come.
