Influenced by wakeboard and snowboard designs, the Play board is the only wave/freestyle all-round board on the market specifically shaped and designed for younger sailors. The Play remains affordable with it's unique HD core and partial PVC/Wood technology.
- The length of this compact board is drastically shortened to reduce swing weight in transitions and rotations, while the wide width provides early planing. The clean, smooth tail outline, the tucked rails and the swallow-tail combine to give a remarkable, clean carve when off the rails while the thruster fins provide additional bite. With a wide nose and under-hull channels, the Play is just at ease freestyling as it is powering through wave-riding maneuvers.
"The board is always ultra maneuverable, whether carving or in the air. The inertia is virtually zero, we can push any tricks with so much ease it's unreal! A great toy to have under the feet. The carving is super incisive (with real wave board rails in the tail!) and it makes you dream about surfing waves." Wind magazine - France May 2002
The Play concept remains well and truly ahead of its time.
Designed for younger sailors and those who weigh 60kg or less, the Play board is remarkable.
